The larger Canadian group is not just vegans. I know you dislike repetitive groups, but as vegan and vegetarian are not the same, there really is a place for a separate "Canadian Vegans" group. We have different issues and concerns than those of vegetarians.

If you take a look at the Groups Index, you'll see that there is a larger Canadian group with over 200 members (along with some local ones). There are actually over 1,600 Canadian Volentians!
