Melanosis, don't forget that there are plenty of less 'graphic' videos that are worth showing to non-veg family, friends and colleagues. I still feel that seeing the reality of factory farming, even in small doses, can make a big difference. All you can do is educate, it's up to others what they take from that knowledge.

I would like to offer my family a chance to watch Earthlings in order to help them understand why I'm so deeply upset by meat eating, but on the other hand they've never reacted positively to any verbal persuasion I've attempted over ten years and I fear that exposing them to Earthlings would make the rift between me and them greater. Not sure what to do.

This is a wonderful film, so shockingly true..

When some meat-eater asks me 'Why veg*n?', I say 'Because I've watched "Earthlings"'. In most cases, they do not watch the film; however, do not ask me the question again no matter what I do.."

I would also recommend films like "HOME", "EATING", "FOOD, INC.", "MEAT THE TRUTH", "END OF THE LINE", "THE EMOTIONAL WORLD OF FARM ANIMALS"

The dolphin part is SO hard to handle for me. When they're dying on the floor and children are walking past. Brought me close to crying.

I couldn't agree with this statement any more. You're probably right about the amount of veg*ns tripling if everyone had to watch it.

It's really sad to me though that there arent more people out there like us who go out of there way on a daily basis to be informed of rights issues such as this. I just don't understand why equal rights and freedom for all living things is not a top priority for every one in the world. It baffles me how most people's minds work.

I think everyone should watch it; it might be painful for some of us, but personally, I'd rather be informed about something before I make any decision.

hello
ive seen alot of these comments and draw the conclusion that its very disturbing.
i am a 13 year old vegetarian and im not sure if i should watch it.
please give answeers and reasons
