Why did the carnist cross the road? Because a meat store was on the other side, and he had been conditioned by the system of carnism to believe that eating animals is normal, natural and necessary.

How many carnists does it take to screw in a lightbulb? None. Carnists prefer to stay in the dark.

regarding the lady gaga post, yes, she's a nut job and likes to shock people for attention and publicity, but "a coat of triumph??" "a monster?" i think that's over the top. she obviously doesn't make the connections between meat and death the way we do.

 

plus, she did it to make a political statement against "don't ask, don't tell?" which is an important issue in our society too. i'm not defending her, but i think demonizing her does not help our cause.

anyway, i didn't think that was funny.
