Comment by Barry Austin on January 16, 2012 at 10:06am Info. which New Zealand Veg*ns may find useful as New Zealanders often visit London;
My friend said that she very much enjoyed the vegan meal here at Bhel Poori in Chapel Market, London even though she very rarely eats a meal without meat. There are a lot of interesting posters on the walls of this restaurant explaining the many advantages of the vegetarian (indeed probably, rather, vegan) diet (you can see part of one on the photo below) and these can help educate non veg*n visitors.
Bhel Poori is probably the cheapest "help yourself to as much as you can eat for a fixed price" restaurant in or near to Cental London, it was only £3-95 per person when we were there but when I cycled past a few weeks ago I read £4-50 per person on a notice outside - but that is still very cheap. Vegans should note that not all the pots are vegan - but staff can tell you which ones are.

Hi there.I've ever been to NZ but I'm thinking to visit to NZ,especially to Christchurch.
is there any good veggie place to should visit?
could you let me know if you have any favorite spots for eating and shopping veggie material natural clothes?
Comment by Razz on November 13, 2011 at 10:05pm sorry got to read it so late. did you find a good place?
I sometimes search on http://flatfinder.co.nz/ where you can enter keywords like vegan and vegetarian.
One of my ex flatties had a place but not sure if he had enough space for kids. Probably his room is taken already, too.
it's in Wellington by the way
Hi everyone I am looking for a flatmate in a vegetarian house with me and my 2 children. Here is the listing on trademe http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=406507582
