Raw Vegans (Truly)

No confusion. True raw vegans do not use leather, wool, eggs, silk, dairy or honey. If you are a vegan then you understand this. Let's all have fun!

Dizzy, welcome to the group! I created this group because the other raw vegan group was posting recipes with honey. I told the administrator of the group that it was inappropriate to post recipes using honey in a raw vegan group and she never responded. So I created this group. This group has been a bit quiet lately but I'm hoping you will help to spice things up. Glad to have you here, my friend:)

Jerzy there are a few top runners following the 80 10 10 diet of Doug Graham that are tops in their field of running, cycling and rowing. My diet, as of late, has become a modification of his diet.

I am not exclusively raw but I am interested in the raw lifestyle, and would love to read about experiences/recipes/tips. Hooray for juicing/smoothies :)

I am a long-distance runner who believes that being a raw vegan will enhance my running performance. Ddoes anyone have any experiences/comments?

Yes Sarah, as I've said elsewhere it does get very confusing with all the different terms in use (lacto, ovo, et al), but it doesn't help either if people don't use them correctly. I'd love it if we didn't find it necessary to use 'labels', but clearly when eating out or buying products it'll be necessity until the day everything is suitable for vegans :-)

Thanks Mark, what's the controversy with agave, I missed that?
