Welcoming vegetarians, vegans, raw foodists, fruitarians and the vegcurious
The food, even though not always cooked by professional chefs, is generally excellent and there are some exciting and highly creative dishes working their way onto our streets.
But it's not all about greasy burgers and hotdogs. Vegetarians and vegans are totally looked after too and street food markets can be a really good way to get cheap, healthy and fast food.
I work for a stall that sells traditional Indian street food. It is entirely vegan, except for the yoghurt chutney which can easily be left out. I've worked in most of the London markets and have seen some other excellent stalls that would appeal to Volentians.
So what I thought I would do is put together a group where I can give you a guide to where to get the best vegetarian and vegan street food, things to look out for, things to ask for etc. Hopefully I will inspire you to try something different or even just make your lunch break at work more exciting.
This group does not have any discussions yet.
