I am doing well too, went vegan last november. had a few slip ups in the beginning. now doing very well with no cravings for any kind of animal products :) Of course i am also lucky that i live in a city where if i want pizza i can find a vegan one

on my own end, i've had zero problems at all. :) except that peers and those around me eating meat is getting more and more unbearable as every year passes. i try to generically pray for some meager forgiveness for my loved ones' actions, but as the possibility of them turning things around dwindles, i find that i want something or someone, somewhere, to hold them accountable for their actions.
on one hand i'm glad that i don't just block it out and become desensitized, but on the other hand it's really flipping annoying.

Comment by Sam White on May 9, 2012 at 4:21am Beans/pulses, nuts and tofu for protein! Cheese and eggs too if you're only vegetarian. It's worth getting hold of a book on vegetarian/vegan nutrition, really helps when planning meals etc.
