Hello!

I have had a Volentia account for some time so I thought it might be wise to start doing something with it!  I am a PA vegetarian. I also run a vegetarian recipe website. Please pay us a visit if you have time. We are in a rebuild process right now so not all the links are working...I am working on it day and night to get it back up . Check it out.  www.all-veg.com

Thanks,

Rich

I've opened Mark's Central Kentucky group up to cover the whole state (it previously only covered Richmond and central KY), do please join it if you're in, or have an interest in, Kentucky.

Might I suggest you all ensure you are using the 2 letter postal abbreviations of your state name in your location, as that appears more common in searches.

For example, there are 435 members registered in TX, but only 14 in Texas!

I love the use of the acronym SAD, which refers to the Standard American Diet ;-)

I never cease to be amazed that, with 8,344 Volentians registered in America, there are still only 31 members on here... how SAD :-(

If, as Molly commented, someone would like to become an Admin and help run/promote this group, do drop me a line.

I'm not the best of keeping up on this site... maybe someone else can take over this page? I'm surprised, like Richard said, that there aren't that many people on here!

I was shocked, and saddened, to read just how many millions of animals the USDA has killed since the 60s under their 'Bye Bye Blackbird' (now Wildlife Services) program.

No-one knows the real scale, as farmers are legally allowed to hire their own contractors to kill 'pests', who don't have to keep any records. The original Animal Damage Control Act has been in place since 1931!

The USDA have confessed to causing at least one of the mass animal die-offs, seen around the world (A cover up for something else, with the USDA taking the blame?).

There are over 8,000 Volentians registered as living in the US, where is everyone?!
