Hello!

I have had a Volentia account for some time so I thought it might be wise to start doing something with it!  I am a PA vegetarian. I also run a vegetarian recipe website. Might I suggest you all ensure you are using the 2 letter postal abbreviations of your state name in your location, as that appears more common in searches.

For example, there are 435 members registered in TX, but only 14 in Texas!

I love the use of the acronym SAD, which refers to the Standard American Diet ;-)

I never cease to be amazed that, with 8,344 Volentians registered in America, there are still only 31 members on here... how SAD :-(

I was shocked, and saddened, to read just how many millions of animals the USDA has killed since the 60s under their 'Bye Bye Blackbird' (now Wildlife Services) program.

No-one knows the real scale, as farmers are legally allowed to hire their own contractors to kill 'pests', who don't have to keep any records. The original Animal Damage Control Act has been in place since 1931!

The USDA have confessed to causing at least one of the mass animal die-offs, seen around the world (A cover up for something else, with the USDA taking the blame?).
