Read more on that Tatton Park visit on Sunday 17th June, and RSVP, on Volentians Everywhere.

At one point I was talking to a lady about a new York veg eatery, I'm not sure whether it went ahead or not?

There's a Tatton Park 'raw' event in the works, see 30bananasaday.com.

Olivia can probably fill you in on the details too, as she's attending.

Any vegans in York?

Comment by Kirsty Law on October 4, 2011 at 1:43pm
Hi Mark, unfortunately the ink is one of biggest issues. Tattoo ink is not regulated, and companies are not required to list ingredients, so it can be difficult to know just what goes in to them. Some inks have been found to contain charcoal from bone, and/or glycerine from an animal source :( Luckily, there are a number of vegan suitable brands, it's just a case of finding a tattooist/studio that uses them.

Hi Kirsty, if its needles you're after, I'm your vegan fiendly acupuncturist! Discovering a tattoo often brightens my day but have to admit I haven't heard of any vegan tattooists. Is the ink and stuff generally ok? or not?

Could be long shot posting here based on activity levels, but does anyone know any vegan friendly tattoo artists/studios in West Yorkshire? or nearby? Thanks x
