1 May 2011, I finally kicked the cheese habit.

For one full year, I:

Openly defied conventional wisdom every day

Did something every day day that billions of people believe they cannot do

Invited criticism from the largest mouths and smallest minds just for existing

Last week, I had lunch at Ruby Tuesday's. They had a few items on the menu that looked promising, so I called the restaurant ahead of time to ensure that the dish was vegan or could be made vegan with some modification.

When I called, I asked specifically for the person most knowledgeable about allergen info. Not only did he give me answers, he even made some suggestions. The spaghetti squash marinara was awesome.
