I belong to a Theatre Company called 'Give 'em the V's' All contributors must be Vegan or Vegetarian.
We will perform plays - not necessarily Vegan/Veggie related - but the idea is to spread the Vegan Veggie message...
If you are a performer, or if you think that you can help with any other aspect of theatre performance, please message me and/or join us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/GiveEmTheVs
Thanks!

Tracie Right On Bett said… Great news. Yeah she has been texting me (her english is much better than my italian) That's awful about the money - grrrr. Am meeting her on Saturday as I have to go to clock museum as part of some research I'm doing so we can have coffee and chat. Thank you for your kind words. I have always been treated so nicely in Italy and in other countries and I just walked over as the lady who worked for the railway was being helpful but I could sense Anna's confusion and distress.I hope someone would do the same for me if I was ever stuck like that :-)
Tracie Right On Bett said… Gemma you're an angel thank you so much. I think my Spanish friend Beatriz told her about free English lessons so you may wanna check that out with her. She needs that first. In the meantime I would suggest she tries Italian cafes and restaurants perhaps in the area she is living in to cut down on travel but I expect she has tried that. After that there is a site called environmental jobs which is always advertizing for people like marine biologists. Let's see what we can do together eh?
Tracie Right On Bett said… Gemma her name is Anna. Would it be ok if I gave her your number direct? I will keep my ears open and can post on my facebook wall that you are looking as have many friends in London through animal rights movement x

I dont use facebook but if u email me on volentia ill get the msg on my email. Also maybe u should contact the dulwich vegans, they r onm facenoomk and have connections all across south london so there are lots of vegans who may be interested in hearing about your group.
Gd luck n take it easy,

Richard Ⓥ Molyneux said… Hi Gemma, I've been bigging up the show on Volentia and Meetup, though it isn't easy as the organiser (and her intern) aren't brilliant (their website is a mish-mash of cut and paste, with some personal comments thrown in).
I've suggested various improvements (and corrections), some of which have been adopted - the inclusion of links to the exhibitor's websites came about as I'd found them all for my event listings on Meetup and Volentia, and mentioned that they could copy them from there.
I did suggest they put 'Baan Unrak Animal Sanctuary in Thailand', rather than simply 'Thai Animal Sanctuary' on the exhibitors page, but it hasn't happened yet.
It's disappointing that the Croydon Veg*ns don't even mention the event on their website. Anyway, I'm on the case, for what it's worth...
I'm currently trying to get people along to a social afterwards :-)
Richard Ⓥ Molyneux said… Do please RSVP on the Event Gemma.
Richard Ⓥ Molyneux said… I see Radree Jewellery is attending the Croydon Show, is that you Gemma?
