This is one of my favorite Einstein quotes, I just thought I'd share it with everyone here."A human being is a part of a whole, called by us _universe_, a part limited in time and space. He…Continue

Linda said… Oh, and thanks for liking my profile :)
Linda said… I can´t see it cause I´m not a member of facebook but that´s okay. I was a member once before but I like Volentia and WAYN better. But I googled you. You have a long list of likes, more than 710 :O. Animals are here with us, not for us :)
Yes I watched that one too, I think that´s very special what you did for your friend, what a nice way to honor him. Very wise words indeed.
Yep, they look tasty!
Linda said… That´s horrible :( What I meant was; it´s nice being among animals.. That must be horrible for you to see that and participate in. But you also have to feed the reptiles in the store then :s, or don´t they have reptiles? Maybe you can apply at the Artichoke Red Vegan Market instead?! If you haven´t already.. Or at a Vegan restaurant nearby?
Yes, I visited the website, pitty I can´t actually see the products though..
Lol, must be very tasty then :P
Yeah, okay, let me see!
Yes! I liked what you said about being grateful, that's where it all starts..
ONE LOVE, including the animals!
Linda said… Yeah, it has been long enough, lol..
Well that´s a nice side job.. Why do you wanna get out? Good way to roll in indeed, I hope you get that paying position one day.
I´m Pedagogical worker, I work with children (age 0-13) in a daycare center, I always worked there but with the crisis here especially in this sector they had to fire people and I was a flexworker so they always go first, you know how it goes.. So right now I´m searching for sidejobs as well, so I can at least work more hours.
Thanks for the offer that would be nice for sure, I´ll contact you then :)
That´s great!
I´d love to enter that Artichoke Red Vegan Market and nose around, amazing..
I never had a (Vegan) Twinkie in my life lol, I never heard of it until I saw the movie Beethoven when I was little, (that part where that girl fed the dog a Twinkie). It sounds funny as well. But a Twinkie is like a cake right? With creamy filling, sounds delicious..
I haven´t seen your videos yet so I´m going to right now..
Linda said… You are such a flirt lol.
I´ve been living here for so long now, I just want to live in another area.
What kind of work do you do by the way?
That sounds just like a dream where you live, definitely on my list of places Í'm going to visit one day! And you have good weather and beautiful beaches too! Maybe you can send me a few pictures of the area you live, and the vegan spots, that would be nice, you made me curious!
Thanks for the link, will check it out :)
Linda said… I am definitely a lonely vegan lol..
I live in the south, in a village called Goirle, nearby Tilburg, where Im planning to move soon..
It´s pretty clean and green where I live and they also recycle here so that´s nice. There are no vegan shops or restaurants or anything where I live, but that´s okay cause I love to cook :P and there´s Ekoplaza, in Tilburg, (15 min by bike). Its not so big but it can get almost everything I need there. We also have a shop in The Netherlands ( www.vega-life.nl , in Amsterdam) where they sell all kinds of vegan and vegetarian stuff. That´s where I get my b12 vitamin. It´s like 1,5 hour traveling by train so it´s nice you can also shop online. There are vegan options but you just have to seek well. All together It´s not so bad living a vegan lifestyle here. But I think I probably would prefer living where you live, where there are more vegan options :) How is it like living over there?
I like to read about health, nutrition, cooking, veganism, spirituality, informative books, online, and via youtube as well, and watching documentaries etc. Nice you have a youtube channel, I´ll check it out :).
I've been vegan for almost 1, 5 year as well! I love living this lifestyle, I wish I was vegan all my life but better late then never I guess..
Linda said… Yes I love to be here, I don't know any Vegans in my personal life so it feels great to meet like minded people here on Volentia
Cool, sounds nice and productive.
I love to do yoga and lately I been jogging also, feels great.
I also love to read, there's so much interested information out there, makes you hungry to learn more and more hehe, and it's nice being swept away by a good book, or movie every now and then, love it.
Only thing missing at the moment is work work work..
What do you mean; Are you Vegan, Vegetarian etc? Are you provoking me or something? Lol. I'm VEGAN!
You have a nice background by the way..
Linda said… Hey, thank you for accepting :) I'm doing good, thanks, how are you?
Kimberly Spiegel said… I don't find these classes interesting at all! I totally glaze over in Population Genetics and only half pay attention in my other class.
You've never heard of Roots?! By Alex Haley, famous story about the African slave trade based on real people from Haley's ancestry that were stolen from Africa. They made a miniseries out of it too. Oh I'm also reading a book for my dissertation research on Native American use of fire and another one on fire policy in the 21st century. So many books, so little time!
The shirt I want says "Go vegan and nobody gets hurt" ! There are a lot of good ones, I definitely need some kind of bumper sticker but can't decide on the one I want!
Kimberly Spiegel said… Right now all I'm really having time for reading is my Population Genetics and Plant Physiology text books :( I rarely read non-fiction but I started Roots awhile back and haven't made much progress. Really like it, just no time.
The vegan thing is going great! I lost a pesky 5 lbs that I had been wanting to get rid of and am loving being so healthy and cruelty-free!
