Meet Vegans and Vegetarians From Around The World
I can do lots of things, but previous jobs have included typesetting and graphic design for about 10 years, a care worker/admin/day centre manager in a home for older people for 8 years, and a year as a barman :-)
I've a BTEC in Computer Studies, amongst other computing qualifications, having used computers since the 80s.
I'm an eco-worrier(!), so have an interest in the environment, being the chairman of a local green group, and co-founder of my local Transition initiative.
The ideal thing would be a home-based job (probably design again, or a web/telephone support role, or, in my dreams, doing vegan marketing!), as I look after my 2 young children for part of the week, as I'm divorced.

Comment by Richard Ⓥ Molyneux on June 12, 2012 at 3:01pm LOL I read your, err, 'script' with interest, and commented on there.
Comment by Havenheed Outpost on June 12, 2012 at 3:21am Personally I got sick of telling people, so I just try to find the positives in the supposednous that he was. But back to the subject, offer still open, or perhaps you'd like to suggest someone else for the role. Looking at your CV how would manager of a comedian suit you? One would have to focus on a high impact debut gig.
Comment by Richard Ⓥ Molyneux on June 8, 2012 at 2:30pm Very good Herb, although, as I keep telling people, Hitler wasn't a vegetarian.
I actually failed to get into art school, I wasn't wacky enough ;-) But I was conventional enough for design college!
Comment by Havenheed Outpost on June 8, 2012 at 6:08am I'll be your agent if you become a sit down comedian. Hell I could even write for you:
"As a vegetarian I don't mind being compared to Hitler; you wouldn't believe how easy it was to get into art school."
BOOM!
"The great thing about trainspotting is that people can't tell you to get out more."
BAM!
Just drop me a line...
Comment by Richard Ⓥ Molyneux on June 5, 2012 at 5:34pm I found "someone else", we were due to be married in March, she left me in January.
Anyway, this isn't the best place for discussing this, I'll just frighten off any prospective employers/clients!
Comment by Richard Ⓥ Molyneux on June 5, 2012 at 5:32pm Don't mistake good Googling skills for intelligence! I know a lot of things, but most of it of no use to anyone ;-)
My ex-wife is an Indian from Malaysia, every so often she mentions returning to live there. I took my kids to the Young Indian Vegetarians picnic in Croydon on Saturday, when I mentioned to her on the 'phone that they were playing with some Indian children and there was Indian stick dancing, she said it was good for them to be immersed in Indian culture...
Comment by Richard Ⓥ Molyneux on June 5, 2012 at 1:27pm Thank you again Lisa, I'm just dreading becoming another statistic, one of those 85% of separated fathers who lose contact with their children after 5 years... can't believe it's almost 3 years already (they were only 3 and 1 when she took them away, I was a stay at home dad and never returned to work... I lost my wife, my babies, my confidence and more).
Comment by Richard Ⓥ Molyneux on June 5, 2012 at 7:52am Oh, and I could maybe be a sit down comedian (the legs and back aren't as strong as they used to be, too much of my daughter going "carry me" all the time!)...
